This
exciting show has dazzled audiences Australia wide and internationally for
more than ten years. Brazil is world famous for its spectacular carnival; the
irresistible rhythm of the drums, glorious costumes of sequins and
feathers and of course for the stunning women, the sensual dancing mulatas.
Our Latin dancers bring to you a taste of the carnival, a feast for
the eyes and ears, an enticement to get up and join them.
| Apart from
the Samba, highlights of the show include Capoeira, a Brazilian martial
art that incorporates acrobatics, music and dance. These highly skilled
performers will amaze you with their agility, co-ordination and
athleticism, performing somersaults and back flips, sure to keep you on
the edge of your seat. Another Brazilian gift is the sensual Lambada, known as the
“forbidden dance”. This can lead to a Lambada competition for the audience
if you wish.
Audience participation is a feature of the show, adding a humorous element
and providing a memorable event for all involved.
As well as
traditional Brazilian folkloric numbers such as Afro-Brazilian dance,
Maculele and a tribute to Carmen Miranda, Brazilian Fantasy Show also
presents a scintillating Mambo and an energetic Salsa, with rhythms from
neighbouring Latin American countries. |

This South American Dance Show is the premier Latin Show in Sydney.
The group
has been featured in many
high profile events such as Darling Harbour festivals and the Sydney
Olympics and often travel interstate to perform in theatres of for
conferences and corporate functions. The group has also enjoyed great success in Japan,
performing at several clubs and resorts over the past ten years, as well as
travelling to India, Singapore, Jakarta, Korea, the Philippines, New
Caledonia and Mexico.

The show can be tailored to suit any event or venue, from
small intimate functions (for example, you may like 2 dancers to drop in
and do a demonstration and a Salsa class) right up to large-scale events
with a full team of dancers and musicians.
Members of
the show are highly skilled professionals, most recruited
directly from Brazil. They are highly accomplished dancers, look fantastic
in their colourful glamorous costumes and have the biggest brightest
smiles, certain to dazzle any audience! |
