Magician, Nick Nickolas walked away with half the gongs awarded at the
Australian Convention of Magicians in 2004, winning four of the
eight awards handed out at the event.
Competition was intense with
300 magicians from around the world taking part.
"This was my first time
performing at an Australian Convention and am enamoured to have received
this recognition from my peers" Nick Nickolas said.
Original twists to the
ancient cups and balls routine, combined with a warming wit, won him.
Nick Nickolas from
Melbourne who has been performing professionally worldwide for 20 years
received 4 of the 8 awards.
"Best Close-Up Show" and
"Best Line" of the Magicians Convention... The comedic variety of
his magical performances also got him the prizes of... "Most
Entertaining Act ", and he won "Best Moment " with his hilarious
appearance as an added Ozzy Osbourne.

performing on the Streets of London at 15 calls himself a magic
comedian. He is also the best Ozzy Osbourne look-alike ever...
