Beyond
This ensemble is an upmarket, sophisticated ensemble performing modern
Jazz, Soul, R&B and Groove music. With a wealth of experience in each
and every member they are able to offer background Jazz classics,
improvise tasteful instrumentals or belt out some great show stoppers if
you prefer a "show" or something to pull the focus of your guests to the
stage or the dance floor prior to speeches or awards.
Sally Cooper - Vocals
Sally is a well-known & respected Sydney Jazz/Blues/contemporary
vocalist, with a solid background of Jazz and Classical training &
teaching experience & Having performed regularly with her line-ups in
Australian and International Premium Music Venues. Some of the musicians
Sally has worked with in her career also have performance credits
including Barbara Streisand, Madonna, James Taylor and Frank Zappa,
Vince Jones, Steve Vai, Alan Holdsworth, James Morrison, Dale Barlow,
and The Baby Animals. Sally’s experience has given her a well tuned
ability to "Woo her audience." She is able to satisfy the most
discerning of listener requests, singing "Diva" showtopping Songs (made
famous by artists like Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion,
and Ella Fitzgerald,) with Vocal mastery and ease. Sally Cooper also
sings in Korean language which is a delight for International audiences.
Ross Nixon - Piano / Keyboards
Ross has been a
Professional Musician
for over twenty years, playing all around Australia, on the Achilie Lauro Italian cruise Ship, cruising around the south
pacific from New Zealand to Tasmania playing on Board with a Jazz Trio
and Internationally in Hong Kong, London, Paris, Thailand, Japan
Ritz-Carlton (Osaka) and the Sheraton Phoenix Resort (Miyazaki).
Ross has produced & composed major Australian recording Artists
albums, produced sound tracks for national & International television
productions and written many jingles for television & radio.

Power Hotel’s, Underground Nite Club, Jupiter’s Casino Gold Coast, Chin
Wa Restaurant Sydney, Treasury Casino Brisbane, Coolum Hyatt Resort,

Ronnie Scott’s in London; and Ritz-Carlton Osaka, Don Shop and Sheraton
Grand Ocean Resort Miyazaki in Japan.
Gus Fenwick
Gus grew up in New Zealand and came to Australia early in his playing days. Music has taken him to
many parts of the world including America ,Canada, South East
Asia, England and of course Europe. For many years he was based in
Sydney, Australia working with many well known artists and musicals as
well as composing and studio work. In 2000 Gus travelled to Germany to
work at EXPO for 5 months and liked the German life style and people so
he decided to base myself there for some years.
Gus worked with
Peter in 'Rikkis Lost Number' and really enjoyed it so went back
to Germany in October 2002. They kept in touch and he was asked to work
on the next 'Projekt'.
Gus has also worked in 'Mamma Mia' in
Hamburg and 'Starlight Express' in Bochum
Music is Gus' passion and hobby as well as his living. He loves playing
bass in a good band with good musicians. Beyond Beyond offer both - what
more could a good muso want?
