What is Mariachi?
The “mariachi” is originally from the state of Jalisco in Mexico. It is the most well known style of Mexican traditional music. It consists of trumpets, violins, a guitar, vihuela (Mexican guitar) and guitarron (Mexican bass). The songs played contrast from sentimental love ballads to lively and popular music.

Prideri and Rebecca Santillana have brought together some of Sydney’s most talented musicians to create a high quality, spectacular and authentic musical performance.

The sound of Prideri’s rich voice and modern approach to traditional Latin music, combined with the magnificent sound of violins, trumpets and guitars is an experience not to be missed.

The band of up to 10 mariachis wears traditional Mexican trajes (suits) as well as classic sombreros and decorative silver gala from Mexico.

People are enthralled with the vision of the Mariachis in full costume and can’t help but get up and dance to the rhythms of the well known Mexican and Latin songs.

MEXICAN MARIACHIS offer a variety of spectacular, atmospheric or romantic shows.
Shows can be tailored especially for your wedding, function, party, event or special occasion -  they have many ideas to offer you!

You can have a combination of 3 - 10 mariachis, with sound equipment or without depending on the venue and style of entertainment required.

For even more enjoyment, they can include a female dancer in colourful, traditional Mexican costume.

For events, parties and festivals the full ensemble is ideal as an entertainment feature and longer shows include plenty of well known songs which people can dance to. 

Strolling performances of 3-5 mariachis create a unique atmosphere and are ideal for more intimate situations from restaurant entertainment and cocktail parties and special occasions.

For fabulous Latin music throughout longer functions we can feature the full ensemble of MEXICAN MARIACHIS for a one hour performance followed by a Latin DJ playing popular Latin and modern hit-parade pop songs.
